Up to Charles Dickens de Hareswith (Dickens)

Dicken’s Pedigree

Dickens (Up to Charles Dickens de Hareswith) was the brother of Rowan. So he also was the son of Hazel, Grandson of Grace and great grandson of Heidi! He was greatly contrasting in colour, being a rich gold and Rowan being pale cream.

Dickens is a proven stud dog and is available to approved bitches. He says as often as you like!

He was a gentle giant, very soft and wanted to please. It has to be said that he was a bit of a mummy's boy. He was strong and powerful but could play with our kitten, Crunchie without hurting her.

He grew into a handsome dog. Like his sister, Rowan, he also did well in the show ring, he was only shown once in 2006 but achieved 1st Excellent, CACS and Best of Breed. All who meet him fall in love with him.

Dickens learnt to be a working dog and seemed very keen to find dummies and retrieve them. He loved the water and was a very strong swimmer

02.12.2003 – 10.01.2011

After being diagnosed with cancer in September 2010, Dickens was given sleep to stop his pain on 10.01.2011. He was only 7.

He did not enjoy going to shows, but those he did attend he did well at, gaining CACS & BOB.

Friends and family, when told of his passing all said the same thing, he was such a gentleman.

Sleep well, my friend, in the end, when it counted the most, you were very brave.
