Making sure we choose the right stud dog for our next litter is very important for several reasons. We believe it’s imperative to ensure we constantly aim to improve the breed of Golden Retrievers and to provide owners with loving family members, so we make sure our stud dogs have the right mix of character, be physically fit and free from from hereditary defects.
Currently we have two wonderful Golden Retriever stud dogs; Up to Charles Dickens de Hareswith (Dickens) and Amilone The Laird to Hareswith (The Laird). Both are proven stud dogs, having sired wonderful litters.
Dickens is a strong gentle giant with a wonderful disposition. At 6 years old he is a seasoned stud dog, an experienced suitor, putting his ‘girls’ at ease!
When people come to choose a puppy from one of Dickens litters they simply ask that their puppy grows up just like him!
Praise indeed for the lovely guy!!
The Laird is our young stud dog with several litters to his name.
His temperament is simply divine. He shows no aggression, loves children and simply wants to give love.
We believe we are very lucky to have him in our lives, and look forward to many litters from him in the future.
In the show ring he continues to be very successful winning -
With perfect hip score of ‘A/A’ and ‘0’ elbows he is without doubt the best stud dog we have ever had.
With perfect hips
Our stud dogs are available to approved bitches. Both pass on their good looks and excellent temperaments to their puppies.
